ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to my little place on the net. My name is Ed Evans and I am a web and graphic designer based in the UK. I spend a lot of time designing and learning new techniques. I also spend a lot of time reading, writing (both content for websites and stories), watching films, listening to music and socialising.

KNOWLEDGE

My background is artistic and technical and I spend a lot of time designing, researching and looking for inspiration. While not exhaustive, the following skills list and previous projects should give you a fair idea of what I'm about.

I have worked on a range of sites, some commerical and business orientated and some more artistic and outlandish. I am capable (and it is my aim!) to work on as many different and challenging projects as possible so if you don't see what you want here, maybe I can make it for you!

I have knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, W3C validation, multi browser compatible web pages, Adobe Flash, content management systems (Aspdotnetstorefront, Kentico, Joomla! etc), PHP, MS Office, FTP, Visual Studio 2005, SEO/search engine optimisation, have experience with Wacom graphics tablets and some Actionscript 3.0.

I have also been involved in content writing, blogging, producing training documents, population, client correspondance, branding, Wordpress integration, data keying/input Google Analytics and Adwords.
